This recipe is so good, I’ve cooked it four times this month and it never gets old!

This Brownie Bread recipe combines the best of both worlds, offering the rich, fudgy texture of brownies in a convenient loaf form. It’s a simple and satisfying dessert that’s perfect for slicing and enjoying with a glass of milk or a scoop of ice cream.

Ingredients:

Ingredient Quantity
Unsalted Butter (melted) 1/2 cup
Granulated Sugar 1 cup
Large Eggs 2
Vanilla Extract 1 teaspoon
All-Purpose Flour 1/2 cup
Unsweetened Cocoa Powder 1/3 cup
Baking Powder 1/4 teaspoon
Salt 1/4 teaspoon
Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips 1/2 cup

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven and prepare loaf pan: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan with butter or cooking spray. Set aside.
  2. Combine melted butter and sugar: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the melted unsalted butter and granulated sugar until well combined and smooth.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla: Add the large eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition until fully incorporated. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Combine dry ingredients: In a separate medium bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, unsweetened cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Combine wet and dry ingredients: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing gently until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
  6. Fold in chocolate chips: Fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips into the batter, distributing them evenly.
  7. Pour into loaf pan: Pour the brownie bread batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
  8. Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the loaf comes out with a few moist crumbs attached. The center should be set, but still fudgy.
  9. Cool in pan: Allow the brownie bread to cool in the loaf pan for about 10 minutes before attempting to transfer it. This will help it set slightly and prevent it from breaking apart.
  10. Cool completely on wire rack: Carefully transfer the brownie bread from the loaf pan to a wire rack and let it cool completely before slicing and serving.
  11. Slice and serve: Once cooled, slice the brownie bread into thick slices and enjoy! It’s delicious on its own or with your favorite toppings.
