The Father Of A Girl With Cancer Who Died In The American Airlines Disaster Shares A Text That Led Him To Believe Something Was Not Right

A father is bravely sharing his story after the heartbreaking loss of his wife and young daughter in the American Airlines plane crash. He has reflected on the moments leading up to the devastating news, recalling a specific text message that made him feel uneasy, hinting that something was amiss.

The incident occurred on January 29th when a PSA Airlines aircraft tragically collided in the sky with a Black Hawk helicopter in the vicinity of Washington D.C. The airplane was carrying sixty passengers and a crew of four. Both the plane and the helicopter plummeted into the Potomac River. Sadly, it is believed that all sixty-four individuals on the airplane and the three people aboard the helicopter perished in the accident.

Andy Beyer was anxiously awaiting the arrival of his wife, Justyna, and their beloved 12-year-old daughter, Brielle. They had been at a figure skating event, a passion of Brielle’s. As the scheduled landing time passed without any sign of their arrival, Mr. Beyer grew increasingly concerned when his attempts to contact them were unsuccessful. His deepest fears were tragically realized when a friend who worked as an air traffic controller confirmed the devastating news of the crash.

Mr. Beyer fondly remembered his daughter, Brielle, as an incredibly strong and resilient young girl. Despite having overcome cancer, she embraced life with remarkable enthusiasm and had dreams of becoming a figure skater. He described her as a true “fighter” who lived each day to its fullest. In the wake of this profound tragedy, a GoFundMe campaign has been established to provide support to the Beyer family during this incredibly difficult time.
