Instructions:
- Saute and Prepare Meat Mixture
- Add 1 tbsp of olive oil to the Instant Pot and turn to saute.
- Saute ½ chopped onion until softened.
- Stir in 1 lb of ground beef, 2 tsp garlic powder, 3 tsp minced garlic, 1 tbsp Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to taste.
- Saute until the meat is cooked through, drain excess fat, and set aside.
- Prepare the Instant Pot for Noodles
- Turn off the saute function and pour half of the 3 cups of water into the Instant Pot.
- Layering and Cooking
- Break 1 lb of spaghetti noodles in half and layer them in an “x” pattern in the Instant Pot.
- Cover the noodles completely with 1 jar of pasta sauce, 1 can of diced tomatoes, and the remaining water, ensuring the noodles are fully submerged.
- Place the lid on the Instant Pot, set it to sealing, and cook on manual high for 5 minutes.
- Final Touch
- Allow a natural release for 5 minutes once finished, then carefully push the valve to the venting position to release the remaining pressure.
- Once able to, open the lid, return the meat mixture to the Instant Pot, and stir everything well before serving.
