Old El Paso™ Chopped Green Chiles, drained | 1 can (4.5 oz) |
Milk | 1 cup |
Eggs | 2 |
Original Bisquick™ mix | 1/2 cup |
Shredded Monterey Jack or Cheddar cheese | 3/4 cup (about 3 ounces) |
Old El Paso™ salsa (any variety) | As desired for serving |
Sour cream (optional) | As desired for serving |
Instructions:
- Heat your oven to 400°F and grease a 9-inch pie plate.
- Cook the ground beef and onion in a 10-inch skillet over medium heat until the beef is browned. Drain any excess fat. Stir in the taco seasoning mix (dry).
- Spoon the beef mixture into the pie plate and top it with the drained green chiles.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, and Bisquick mix until well blended.
- Pour the Bisquick mixture over the beef and chiles in the pie plate.
- Bake for about 25 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
