Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and grease and flour a 9×13 inch pan.

- Combine the egg yolks and ½ cup of milk, then stir this mixture into the flour mixture.
- Roll out half of the dough on a lightly floured surface to match the size of the prepared pan. Line the inside of the pan with this dough, and spread a light coating of egg white over it.
- Fill the crust with the sliced apples, and sprinkle ¾ cup of white sugar and ½ tsp of ground cinnamon on top.
- Roll out the remaining dough and place it on top of the apples. Brush the top with a light coating of egg white.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 35 to 40 minutes, or until the crust is golden.
- While the bars are cooling, beat together 1 ½ cups of confectioners’ sugar, a pinch of salt, 1 tsp of vanilla extract, and 3 tbsp of milk until the mixture is smooth.
- Drizzle this glaze over the cooled bars, and then cut them into squares.
