- Combine Initial Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the Jell-O powder (from the 3 oz package), granulated sugar, egg white, and vanilla extract. Mix them together until they are well combined.
- Add Boiling Water & Whip: Gradually add the 1/2 cup of boiling water to the mixture while simultaneously beating with an electric mixer on medium speed. Once all the boiling water is incorporated, increase the mixer speed to high.
- Whip to Fluffy Consistency: Continue beating on high speed for 5 minutes, or until the icing becomes fluffy, light, and holds soft peaks.
